Exam Season

Exam season has arrived for the next gen hopefuls going through school and college. You might recognise them by their sweaty-armpits and bulging eyeballs which scream exhaustion, laced with sheer panic! It may be tempting to avoid these poor creatures and just leave them to it, but actually, a bit of empathy can go a long way on such occasions…

Have you ever heard the tale of St. George and the Dragon? Legends claim that the patron saint of England slew a malevolent dragon that was terrorising a city…

If told today, the tale might not go down so well – what would David Attenborough say? What would Daenerys Targaryen say?! Maybe we shouldn’t be slaying dragons, we should befriend them!

Joylets

There is so much pleasure to be found in our everyday moments, and sometimes it’s the littlest things that bring us the most joy – such as pouring a hot cup of coffee and smelling that intoxicating aroma, or even just saying hello to a cute kitty in the street…

As far as we know, there isn’t an official name for these magical little moments, so we propose that these special little moments – jam-packed with profound joy – shall be now known as ‘joylets’.

Birthday Beer and Art Extravaganza

Birthdays are important to us at Be Momentful, we love ‘em. (Especially if they involve beer!)

That’s why we were super excited to team up with Art of Protest Gallery and Brew York to celebrate their Birthdays in style, in our hometown of York last weekend (5th & 6th).

As a proud media partner of York’s biggest arty party of the year, we attended the launch night of the Art of Protest Gallery’s spring exhibition, whilst also celebrating Brew York’s third birthday.

At the event we witnessed some incredible live painting (part of Art of Protest Gallery’s ‘Murals for York’ Project), sampled some exclusive Brew York beers in stunning special edition cans by Art of Protest artists, and demoed the app to visitors, touching both hearts and minds (well, we like to think so!).
