Ruth Cachares is the mind behind Roodee Creative. Aged 18, during her time at art school, Ruth turned her focus to children’s book illustration. Remembering how inspiring and influential the books from her own childhood had been, artists like Hilary Knight and Charley Harper were her inspiration to create simple, clean and whimsical drawings. Now Roodee spends her days illustrating from her studio in Denver, using a bespoke palette and fine lines with a twist of humour, for clients and companies around the world.
