Independent illustrator and art tutor Juan has been drawing his entire life. “I consider drawing a way to know the world we live in. To me, drawing and illustrating is not only my passion and motivation, but also a way to encourage others to value and preserve our unique planet.” Inspired by the works of John Ruskin, Sibylla Merian, as well as comic authors Alberto Breccia and Sergio Toppi, Juan’s work has received wide recognition, shown across Colombia, Portugal, Iran and Peru.
