What's to love about Clare Lindley?

Straddling the line between art and craft, Clare uses layers of coloured paper to produce beautiful and unique landscapes. “After years of wielding a paintbrush, it’s safe to say that it’s the scalpel that gets me!” Despite spending all her life in the countryside, it’s only recently that she’s been inspired to portray her natural surroundings in her work, “now I look up at the trees and the birds, and fill my work with them”.
