What's to love about Amelia Bowman?

Amelia is a Norfolk-based artist who creates intaglio collagraph prints and hand-drawn, digitally coloured pattern designs. Having learnt collagraphy almost by accident while working in secondary art education, Amelia watched as students were shown techniques by a guest tutor. By converting an old washing mangle, that has endured to this day, Amelia was able to produce her very own collagraph press – and the rest was history! Inspired by her rural surroundings, Amelia can often be found sketching the Norfolk coast, and converting her sketches into collagraph plates.
